Great performance by David Fumanelli, who was elected Ferrari Challenge World vice champion, during the weekend of the Ferrari World Finals, at Monza circuit.
It was a last minute call from Rossocorsa Racing team to compete in the final championship round and in the great World Finals event, with all the championships reunited in one race, on a beautiful Ferrari 488 Challenge.
David got a wonderful victory in race 2 of the European series and a world vice champion title in the World Final on Sunday.
A weekend conditioned by the crazy weather, which made the track conditions very difficult for all the drivers. On Saturday was David to show a master drive on a very wet track, a great win in front of his fans in his home race!
In the World Final on Sunday, after a great battle with Danish driver Nielsen, he brought home his Ferrari 488 Challenge in second place to grab a fantastic vice champion title.
Due to a contact at the start, David got an electronic issue that reduced his car potential. Despite this, he resisted to Nielsen's attacks for 14 laps, giving up the lead just in the second last lap.
A great international result, obtained on his home track and in front of the numerous fans, which can only be the icing on the cake of a fantastic racing season.
