David Fumanelli achieved a great podium in the 2nd round of the Renault Sport Trophy, which took place in Imola at Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari.

After a brilliant job during Friday sessions, ended up in 3rd position, in qualifying David signed the 2nd fastest laptime and secured an important first row for the race, by just 0.04 s from Pole Position.
In the race, after a good start, he maintained the position and impressed a great race pace trying to put pressure on Bonifacio. Only a gearbox problem during the final laps forced him to slightly reduce the speed, however he grabbed a valuable 2nd place in front of the home crowd.
Thanks to the points conquered, is now in 3rd position in the overall classification and in the title’s fight.
Next round of Renault Sport Trophy on the 15th -17th of July at Red Bull Ring.
