The final act of an intense season saw David coming close to a podium in the 3 hours of Barcelona.
He was back defending the colours of McLaren #42, alongside the Brits Williamson and Leventis, battling for the podium in the Pro-Am class.
They qualified 7th for the race, but on Sunday it was clear that #42 had a better rhythm in the pocket.
In fact they came back up to 3rd place with still one hour to go and they start battling with a Mercedes from AKKA team for the last step of podium, who had the best only in the final laps with the help from some lapped cars.
Still a positive weekend to end the season, after a period of lack of reliability, David and McLaren finally managed to find back they competitiveness.
