A bitter sweet race for Fumanelli at 1000 km of Paul Ricard, third meeting of the Blanpain GT Endurance Series.
A difficult qualifying for all the McLarens, compromised by a strict BOP, saw car #43 start from the 33rd place and second best McLaren.
During the race, a tyre puncture at the beginning dropped car #43 at the back of the grid, with only 4 hours to go.
But a smart strategy from the box and two great night stints let the trio Fumanelli-Kane-Tordoff finished 16th, close to the points.
A great comeback which showed that without the problem they could have reached the top-5.
Next race will be the famous 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps, 29th-30th of July.
